Our incredible traditional animation instructor, Conan Sinclar, steps into the world of 3D with the same tried-and-true techniques and fun teaching style from his past lessons to present this new, eight hour course on Maya. You’ll learn plenty of technical basics of Maya, how to pose your character, the importance of silouhette, blocking your sequence, adding anticipation, follow-through, and other animation principals. As you practice various sequences, you’ll work with Maya’s Graph Editor and Dope Sheet as well as go over basic lighting and rendering techniques. And of course, you’ll receive the source files you need to get started animating right along with Conan.
